Essence Nail Polish and Nail Art Products

Nail polish

I promised myself I wouldn’t go overboard buying nail polish for a while until I walked into a local Dischem branch yesterday. First, I should explain. I used to buy all my Essence nail polishes from the local Clicks store and got really frustrated at the limited range they had available nail art services. I finally got around to visiting Dischem and thought ‘Hey let’s see, maybe they stock Essence stuff too”. Turns out they do. This was the closest I’ve ever come to going crazy in front of a nail polish display and I ended up getting a whole lot more than I planned on.

Drying spray

I was able to get three nail art special effect topper polishes, three stamps polishes (there used to be no way to get your hands on stamping polishes locally), a silver crackle polish, a nail hardener, a drying spray, and two stamping plates.

It’ll be impossible to do a full review of everything I got in this one post, so I’ll be spacing it all out so I can review each product in its own right once I get around to using it. I’m super excited that I was able to find so many different products in one place! I’m really hoping to find the ‘Franken’ kit next so I can mix my own polishes I hope Santa’s listening after all, it’s only a few months till Xmas.

Stamping polishes

I’m super impressed with the special effects topper polishes so far, I’ve been playing around with them a bit and I cannot wait to try the stamping polishes and new templates! The magnetic polish they had in stock is another item I’d always have to order from abroad, so it’s amazing to see that some local suppliers care enough to import these products. Then again, it makes good business sense. They’re able to get their hands on products no one else has and for a fraction of the price of other brands like Revlon.

Anyway, I’m getting way off track here. These are my new Essence nail polish and nail art product purchases and I just had to share. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited at the variety one store stocks, so if you’re looking for out-of-the-ordinary nail products, head over to Dischem. If you’re based abroad, you may have to settle for places like Amazon, Ulta stores, or other online bidding sites. The point is, the stuff is out there girls and it’s great value for money as well.
