You will arrive at the airport, be greeted by the CVC team, and take a shuttle ride to the hotel.
We suggest you to enjoy a walk on the beaches of the North Coast; take a drive on the Do Coco Road, delighting in the beautiful view of the region, along the farms, beaches and Atlantic Forest on the way towards the charming beach of enjoy pleasant sea swimming or river swimming in the Imbassaí River; then the tour continues to the paradise of Guarajuba Beach, where you will visit one of the most beautiful beaches of the North Coast of Bahia then you will have the lunch (included) at one of the best restaurants in the region; we return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
We suggest walking around the scenic and historic city of Salvador delighting in the beautiful view of Guarajuba, Arembepe and Lauro de Freitas the tour continues to the Cidade do Alto (Upper Town), where we visit the historic Bahia Pelourinho (World Heritage Site) Castro Alves, the architectural Shrine of Jesus and the Largo do Pelourinho; your package includes a visit to the Church of San Francisco the lunch is optional; there are many good restaurants in the area to choose from after lunch we will continue the tour towards the Cidade Baixa (Lower City) of Salvador, then we will stop to visit the Tororo Dyke (with their deities), the Fonte Nova stadium, St. Joachim Orphan Church, Largo da Ribeira, Penha and Nosso Senhor do Bonfim church (always closed on Mondays) then we proceed to the Fort de Monte Serrat, Boa Viagem beach and Elevator Lacerda, ending at Mercado Modelo (local craft market) on the way back, you have a chance to shop and take pictures at the Farol da Barra and we return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Tip: Wear light clothing, a hat, and comfortable flat shoes. Wearing shorts or swimsuits is not allowed in visits to churches and museums.
We suggest boating all day on a schooner or boat on the Santos Bay. Your departure from the Hotel towards Downtown Salvador along the Coco Highway, approximately 59 miles, delighting in the beautiful view of the region, along the farms, beaches, and Atlantic Forest, and some localities as Guarajuba, Arembepe, and Lauro de Freitas. Next, you will navigate from the ferry terminal at Cidade Baixa (Lower City) through the Todos os Santos Bay. With comfort and safety, board a schooner or boat, equipped with bar services, sound system, and an expert guide.
