Here we will learn how to cook a Stuffed Ladyfinger recipe. Lady’s finger is also known as Bhindi, Gumbo or Okra as well. We will cook lady fingers with mustard paste. Especially my family like this recipe very much. It is very simple to cook. So let’s have a look at how to cook a stuffed ladyfinger recipe. Some people called the same recipe with different names as below. But the process of preparation is the same for all.

Ingredients
Lady Finger/Okra/Bhindi- 8-10 Nos
Mustard seeds – 1Tsp
Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
Garlic- 2-3 cloves
Red chilli powder-1/4 Tsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ Tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 2 Tsp
Method of Preparation
First, wash and pat dry ladyfingers/okras/Bhindi. Cut off the tip and the crown. Make a slit lengthwise in each Bhindi. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on the bhindi, Mix well and keep them aside.
Grind cumin seeds, mustard seeds and garlic and make them into a fine paste.
Heat 1 Tsp oil in a pan, add the paste, add salt, a pinch of turmeric powder, red chilli powder and add a cup of water. Cook for 5-10 minutes. When
masala becomes dry remove it from the flame and let it cool.
Stuff the lady’s finger with this masala.
Heat oil in a pan. Add the stuffed ladies’ fingers around the pan and cook on a low medium flame. Every few minutes turn the lady’s finger and allow
cooking all other sides. The colour of ladies finger will turn brown when it is cooked.
Now your stuffed lady’s finger is ready. Serve hot with Rice or Roti.
Tips:
Don’t add washed okras/Bhindi into the water after cut off.
Do not over-fry since it may become crisp.
